Why not go straight for the "Head of the Snake" as they like to say in Pakistan? hmm they have nuclear weapons.... but the Taliban is nothing without Pakistan.

Ya know, the only Afhgan I ever knew was a really
smart, decent woman. She and her family fled the
country when the Ruskies invaded.

The Taliban though, was actually started as a security
team trained by the Pakistani Government. This could
trigger a civil war in Pakistan between the extremists
and the pro-Western leaders. Lets hope that Powell
and Bush can get Pakistan's cooperation with this. If
we don't, they have to go onto the target list as well
because if those nuclear weapons fall into Osama's hands
we will really have a problem...
