I didn't say it would be easy but it's probably doable if we are willing to send in the troops to find the guy. I think Afghanistan might now give the guy up.

The extremist governments regard us as gutless and without resolve, or they wouldn't have taken the risk of harboring and nurturing terrorists dedicated to maiming us to begin with. I'm afraid we will need to demonstrate our resolve before our demands will be regarded as compelling. Doing so will be ugly, but clearly essential to the survival of our way of life. It's best if it be done quickly. We can deal with our guilt feelings later.
