isopatch -- it will also be required for Americans to change their thinking and realize terrorists have no value on life, not even their own. The latest news states they are not finished and have tried again to do the same this evening. Anyone believing it is done is in dreamland.

Great Article That is well said. I also thought about that curb side check in and was apalled at how petty it seemed. Why not have immediate sky marshalls? They (the govt) have got to start thinking in completely different terms. The one thing about crises throughout history is that we always seem to work hard on only that which will fix the last particular crisis. Always reactive thinking - never proactive. They have got to put themselves in the minds of a terrorist and think of all the ways that they can penetrate and attack our society. (It is frightening to think of all the possibilities). Then find ways to combat those different scenarios. The difficulty will be to do so within a framework of an open society that protects individual rights. A daunting task. M
