I didn't see the speech either, but the above sentence is ridiculous. I'm not a big Falwell fan, but I'm pretty certain he wouldn't advocate anything resembling what we all witnessed on Tuesday.

Let's try to keep from posting things that are very ridiculous or very offensive, and very divisive.

Just because you don't understand faith, religion, or whatever you want to call it, doesn't mean then that you should be equating it with the atrocity or even comparing them. Quite the contrary, if you don't understand it, should you even say anything?

There is a major difference between Falwell and Bin Laden. Bin Laden, like Charles Manson, is a psychopath, or at the very least a sociopath. Falwell is motivated purely by greed and power. Unless there were profit in it, Falwell would never advocate a terrorist act.
