Yes, but.....

In '87 I spent a few wee hours in conversation with Saudi Arabia's Minister of Aviation (or whatever he called himself). We were insomniacs on a train from Wien to Zurich.

Of course the first thing I asked him was why the Air Boss was on the train. To his credit, he 'fessed to being a little uneasy about flying. Right on!

As we discussed our two countries and cultures, he drove home the point that he could not understand how a great nation could be so tolerent of drug use.

Not saying I've never inhaled but I suspect the human toll from drug use exceeds the WTC count.

I'd just soon keep the DEA. Maybe we can cop some of those artsy-fartsy dollars instead :-)

I'm sorry, but my tolerance for the sort that hijacked those planes is very, very low at the moment.
