We are at war on at least 2 fronts that I can think of now, both with vague enemies and even less unclear objectives and victory conditions. Drugs Terrorism (and other "evildoers") Both seem like endless endeavors that are slowly chipping away at various freedoms, hailed and cheered on by a scarred populace. It is a bit disconcerting, and frustrating.
