I truly and genuinely am trying to have an open mind and not biased. Now I guess I have to be honest with you that unknowingly I maybe biased against Islam simply because of what I have seen of those who call themselves Muslims when I was in Iran and especially during the so called Khomeini's revolution, and of course what I have seen of them in practical real life at a global level since I left Iran. But now perhaps I have to make a distinction between Islam and those who call themselves Muslims. And from what I hear by so many educated people like yourself is the fact that the true Islam is far far from what the Muslims in countries such as Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Lybia, Sumalia, etc. etc. etc. are practicing. What you are saying is that Islam does not promote or discuss the notion of violence even though we see Muslims under the name Islam and God are doing things that even Nazis did not dare to do so for which it was so sub-human even they could not have their conscious let them do so. And I can write a book on the types of violence Muslims have been practicing in literally every Islamic country (e.g. Iran, Iraq, Sumalia, Algeria, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, etc. etc.). What you are saying is that Islam does not oppress women in any form or shape despite what we see happening in literally all Islamic countries in the world today. And again I can write a book on this very subject. And what you are saying about Islam being the religion of peace is true despite all the hatred that Muslims all over the world have toward non-Muslims. And again I can write a book on this very subject and the types of hatred that is taking place in literally all Islamic countries in the world. And For all I know you maybe correct - and it is true that the religion itself is pure, it is those who are following it are impure. But one thing I do know (or at least I like to feel that I do), and that is you are an educated well respected man who seems to accept reasons and logic, and even if you can not explain some of the evil things that Muslims are doing under the name of their religion, at least you do not argue in hollow to favor them. I am not sure if you have ever come to have a discussion with someone who calls himself a member of Hezb-O-Allah. If you do, you will come to know what evil is and what evil can do. And if you see me a bit biased against Islam - which I really honestly am not - it is because of those who are giving the ideology a bad name. And in my view it should be the duty of every true genuine Muslim to declare Jihad against those Muslims who are giving the religion a bad name.
