I find what the Muslim terrorists did particularly offensive because growing up in a Sikh family one thing we just knew without ever being told was that you didn't attack people from another country like that. To go to the country of white people and attack them this way was something that our minds could not even imagine ... it is obscene and inexcuseable!

I have to say the tolerance by other Muslims of the terrorists' acts really turns me off from the Muslim religion and I think it probably is not a good religion. Maybe the terrorists were just really bad Muslims but if that is the case why don't the other "good" Muslims speak against what they did? Could it be there are not that many good Muslims out there? If this is their idea of putting your best foot forward it sucks!

If a Sikh did anything remotely resembling what the Muslim terrorists did the other Sikhs would hang him themselves ... I'm sure of it.

This is what the Sikhs would like to do to Osama for what he did to America. images.photogallery.indiatimes.com

Pssst.....Dubai is not a country. Its a 'city', or more correctly an emirate of United Arab Emirates.

I am not sure, but I think it has a history of remaining neutral in any conflicts of this kind..

Your point is valid. Imagine if the coalition held them hostage, saying "Stop, else we will nuke your Mecca and Medina".

The Arab countries rely too much on the civilised behaviour of the Western society.

Good post. Im still amazed that all of the radical shieks can issue fatwa after fatwa to kill Americans, so the US media goes out of its way to get "moderate" clerics to come forward and say oh no, this is not Islam. Islam is peacefull, but yet not one of these "moderate and peacefull" clerics has issued a fatwa not to kill people.

a flaw : Dubai is an integral part of United Arab Emirates. (If I recollect right, UAE == Dubai + Abu Dhabi + Sharjah + Ras-al-Khaima). Apologies if I did not recollect right.

cheers, kumar
