Wow, that's going way back. I also owned a little Damon, but the centrifuges sucked. I owned it for the fledgling efforts to scale up mammalian tissue culture, using crosslinked alginate...... Damon Biotech.

I forget if the divestiture was simultaneous, but when the capital equipment business was sold to Corning, the alginate patents went to Repligen. I believe that they've ended up being worthless, but, at that time, Repligen was a very different creature, making mistakes at every turn.
