AMD did take accounting charges for costs associated with the merger. " I checked the 1996 and 1997 quarterly reports - and I found NO MENTIOn of goodwill writedowns from the NEXGEN purchase. Maybe you can post them ?

Which company just got DUMPED by IBM, Gateway and Tiny Computers of England? Which company has been profitable in every quarter for the past 15 years? Which company just posted a HUGE LOSS? Which company has posted a yearly loss for 4 of the last 5 years? Which company is expected to lose money THIS YEAR and NEXT YEAR? Which company has ASPs plummeted to $60 - the level during the Kmart6 days?
