I really find these continuing digs at the left to be inaccurate

I have posted, and will continue to post, statement after statement from leaders of the left that confirm the point of view I have stated here. It is too bad that this is the consensus view from the left, but it is, and you will see the drumbeat for this view heat up as it takes longer and longer to get results in this war on Terrorism.

I am sorry you can't handle the truth.

I really find these continuing digs at the left to be inaccurate and disrespectful of the fact that all Americans are in the same boat.

hi Poet,
i don't think the digs are personal attacks. it is imo more...the frustration coming out.

the fact is we had 8 years of liberalism that reduced our armed forces by 35-40% and sold it to all as a peace dividend. many of us non-libs believed that we cannot afford to not be ready for war at all times and expect our system to survive.
there will never be a peace dividend. but we do need the two party system to get all views aired on other issues...unfortunately we let this wonderful system screw up our defense posture.

now many of us are totally disgusted by the liberal press attempting to pressure the military into moving faster. there is not enough action for the film crews...surreptitious, secret missions are not good for ad sales. they want to get some pictures of bloody bodies and full body bags.
i want to break bill press' nose. (crossfire)

i think every reporter who questions why the military is not inserting more troops faster should help out. they need to enlist, go to basic training, and carry an M-16 to afghanistan. the noisy and demanding old farts like cronkite can volunteer their first born son.

and just for the record...we are not all in the same boat...some of us are very well prepared for catastrophes. my family has always had a good plan...i am now finishing a new pamphlet for my family on disaster preparedness for the current threats.
