Elmer, Definition: ostrich - One who tries to avoid disagreeable situations by refusing to face them. A bunch of folks with their head in the sand. Makes me sad. I'm especially disappointed in McMannis, Joe, TCD, Chuckles, and Albert. Most of the others I expected would be more comfortable having their facts and opinions go unchecked. Putting Mani on the same level as the senseless murderers of 7000 Americans makes me puke and could only come from the lowest form of life, if you could call it that. And it is an OBVIOUS racial slur against him because of his NAME. EDIT - and let me tell you, the SI Administrator is EXTREMELY SENSITIVE to racial slurs. You will be banned permanently from SI if you keep it up, because I will alert Admin. Petz

Elmer and windsock, You guys and I are different people, have different background and perhaps different ideology. And most likely we do not see eye to eye. But I think we should be capable of treating each other with some level of civility, as superficial as it might be. I consider the term "maniban" extremely offensive. You may not consider it a racial slur, but I do. It hits hard and it hits deep, trust me! We all know what happened on 9/11, by calling me “maniban”, you are implying I have something to do with those guys or somehow my action is similar to theirs. Do I need to remind you what these guys have been doing and who they have been supporting? You have every right to voice your disapproval of how I handle moderating this thread. But you should do this without calling me a name after the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. This term is not only offensive to me, but it also trivializes all the thousands of the victim of this tragedy. There is no point of asking you guys to apologize, but I am asking you to refrain from using this term when referring to me. Mani
