Paul, Re: >For AMD, CPUs are losing money - Flash is heading into losses - it's time to say Adios to Hectorville and Welcome Back Jerry - King of AMD for Life !

The way he looked on the webcast yesterday, could be the best thing for Intel. He definitely looks ready for pasture. As I see it, AMD desperately needs a successor to Sanders, and there doesn't appear to be one on the payroll now. Ruiz seems like a nice guy, but really lacks charisma or other apparent leadership qualities, and comes across sounding like a line sup at best. The flash guy is non-descript and the marketing guy a bag of wind. Dirk Meyer is obviously an excellent engineering type, but much too soft-spoken for CEO timbre. I'll take Barrett, and someday Otellini any day of the week over anything AMD has.

Paul - Re:"With Intel ramping the new 0.13 micron Flash Process along with the Colorado Springs Flash Fab, Intel has found yet another way to squeeze AMD's financial lifelblood dry."

Competition is good. Jerry "Where's Mine" Sanders said so.

When is someone going to remind Jerry of that at a conference?

How long before Jerry sells off Flash? It could fund another year of losses.
