Discount rate is 1.5% <<“Gold Is Back”>> Nope, not yet, or back and then gone, but in any case certainly got a lot of mentions in the press, so must be soon or again, maybe, perhaps, else we are indeed in a new era of honest cash and honorable politicians. Gold is trending up for a few months. <<“Russia Sharply Increases Arms Export To Save Economy”>> That is a yes, and apparently everybody else too. What do you think of the latest Business Week saying how great the Russian economy is? My scenario is still for massive stock market and apparent economic rebound, mainly due to these low interest rates etc. and then the plane loses momentum, then height and then crashes.... as the dollar goes down, layoffs increase, housing market collapses etc... Glad to see ya back jay.I still see no stock mkt collapse a comin ...At least no more'n we has already had. I admit that I took a beatin the week after 9/11 Tough to sell lotsa shares of thin stocks inna mkt like that one.But all is ok. I got mostly new stuff and have made it back. I also admit that it does appear that the FEd might be pushin on the preverbal string here.I really haven't a clue if he and the congress can jump start this economy.. No matter...... AG has provided the lower rates, congress the stimulus package to give'em the hope for a recovery .This and the liquidity provided will power the mkt ahead IMO. ......Japan be damned Still gotta be a stock picker of course.......No CSCO's for me. <<In a sentence, there must be an all-pervasive fear of doom>> Good God man where wuz you on the 11Th?......I felt pretty damn doomed...
