Chomsky said, "The five countries who support America's action . . . One of the many things he's wrong about - there are a LOT more than 5 states which support us. NATO has 20 members. Then there is Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Tajikstan, Pakistan, Turkey, China, Japan, etc., etc., etc.

if israel had been a soviet client, i wonder if chomsky would have ever bothered being critical of them... ("democracy .... (means) private power concentration") there is truly nothing new under the sun... i wonder if chomsky is a bit naive or romantic or both... andy
