That explains it !

I always wondered why my dryer has outlet pipes to the outside of the house......it pumps the hot air out, and probably the vaccum is filled from outdoors too...

It had puzzled me since we bought the house....had never seen anything like that in any of the previous houses i lived in...

Shootie deserves a thanx the explanation...

I wasn't afraid of CO and it cost me 2 dogs, millions of brain cells, heart tissue, 20 grand in medical bills, 80 grand in legal fees and about 1.5 mil in lost earnings.

Today, with airtight homes, the probability of CO poisoning is high. And with a half life of nearly 5 hours, a small ppm will concentrate to dangerous levels regardless of cubic area or proximity.

Not to say you can't live through it but you'll remember the event for the rest of your life.

If you have any fossil fuel burning appliance in your home, you should have a least 3 CO detectors.
