Zeev,

A seeming paradox as the Nasdaq A/D was quite positive but new high were anemic when compared let’s say to 11/13.

Any ideas on this?

<<No, 1793 (82) is not until at least the week after that, right now I have the low on Wed at around 1842/48 or so. >>

Zeev...I suspect you are in denial (or in the Nile... symptomatically all wet<g>) on this one. Barring a catastrophic event, I believe we will complete a third wave in the next week or so while breaking above 2000. We should then experience a sharp pull back which I don't expect to close below 1750...

While I have no intention of betting the farm on this one, I intend to be net long until the market proves me wrong. Don't forget how tough it is to pick tops with the kind of liquidity you yourself have pointed to on any number of occasions. New highs vs new lows have a tendency to rectify themselves in a matter of days early in a bull move...

If the market opens weak on Monday, it could be a swing trading opportunity for longs. If strong, it will delay any additional deployment for me...

Ed note...now that's a double double Zeev...:o)

Zeev, when does earnings warning season start up? I believe you're saying we tread water a bit until that starts up in earnest.

SOXX should start turning up on Wednesday, giving support to your bounce target. Let's see, 1840 would seem to work better. Isn't that a 50% re-trace of the 1782-1934 move as well as the approximate position of the rising support from the Sept. 21 lows? A bounce to just about 1875 would seem a good bet, with a drop down as a resolution of a wedge from a falling resistance line.

Anyway, just trying to put this in perspective.
