Great to see you having the edacity to comment outside of your propaganda Islamic thread!
I would not ordinarily respond to an ignorant, but I would make an exception for 2 reasons. Firstly because of a very good friend of mine has insisted on me responding to you and whom you have come to know very well by now for challenging you intellectually and then cornering you with your most laughable responses, and secondly and simply because you are asking for it!
For the record Soroush is a good friend of mine. But he is not me as you have tried very hard to imply! Soroush as himself mentioned several times is MrStevnson, Mr_Stevenson, and Mister_Stevenson. When you started spreading you’re lies on Islam’s message to the world and blocking me to comment to you in a free civil format that I had always done so previously, while you continued your lies on Islam on this thread without having any problems, I talked to a very good friend of mine (Soroush). He suggested he would become an SI member and he would make his – and my – voice be heard on your outrageous comments. He did in fact express my thoughts in a couple of occasions exactly “word-by-word” on your propaganda thread. Of course you did block him.
For the record I did ask him to let you go. However he found you ( as I did ) amazingly interesting for which with every respond you made (and in fact continue to make) you appear as someone who loves to put a sign on his back saying “Please go ahead and kick me!. Your responses to the questions on wife beating and killing of non-Muslims – have all at best been laughable and at worst devilish!! Again for the record he felt he was enjoying himself purely for entertainment purposes for posting on your propaganda thread – as I kind of a truly enjoyed it too when reading his comments and your responses. He can of course afford it too while I can not afford engaging myself in such entertainments for which financially it is rather costly.
In any event he finally had his fun and gave up. Last week when IGIT pointed out the news on the Yemen documents, I could not resist responding with what I had already known about Quran. There was however one minor problem, and you probably would understand it very well for which you are familiar with Islam and Islamic countries.
You see Amein, I foolishly – and regretfully – made so much of my personal info public in this small SI community during my almost 6 years of membership. In particular on this very same thread I made it public that I am a Zoroastrian and despite being an American citizen since I was 16, my country of origin was Iran. And regretfully I still have a lot of family and friends living in Iran. As you know it very well – and in fact understand – in Islamic societies religious minorities are treated as second class citizens, and especially in hard-core Islamic countries such as Iran that tries very hard to follow Quran to the last letter, religious minorities are subject to unfair and inhuman persecutions. In fact and to be honest I have received harsh worded comments from my Zoroastrian friends and family for starting this thread and engaging myself in negative discussions on Islam. You see Amein, Islamic terror has no boundaries!
Zoroastrians are particularly sensitive to being viewed by the Islamic government of Iran when any of their members in any form or shape speak in a rather negative tone on Islam for which they will be harassed to the extreme by the Islamic thugs. In act I am most certain I will receive more harsh worded comments from my dear Zoroastrian friends and family for writing this post, but I do not care for which I hate to be silenced. I am told my family in Iran may be in danger for my comments, or even I – myself – maybe in danger – in this country again simply for expressing my thoughts (regardless of what they are or whether they are correct or wrong or whatever). Yes, Amein, Islamic terror has no boundaries!
This is particularly true with Zoroastrians for which they are the symbol of the Old Persia which was destroyed by the Arabs through the barbaric invasion of 1500 years ago and imposing their religion of Islam on the people of Persia.
When I read that article on Quran not being genuine as people have come to believe, it reminded me of what has always been known among many Iranians, that Quran was in effect written by Salman Farsi prior to, and then continued after Mohammad’s death for his own self-serving purposes. As I have indicated before in Farsi (i.e. the Persian language) a Muslim is called MoSalman (meaning we are from Salman), and the interesting thing is only a few Iranian Muslims know why they call themselves MoSalman! In any event but that is a different subject all together which I will be more than happy to discuss with you, but I am sure you either block me or simply run away!
Incidentally, one of the questions I asked and you never responded was that fact that I would be dead by now if I was living in a country such as Saudi Arabia, or Iran, or any other Islamic country for publicly expressing my views on Quran and Islam (Eventhough my views have all been expressed in a totally fair, civil and respectful manner). I guess your blocking of me – and many others – from your own thread is sort of saying “Yes, Addi, if you are a man come to Saudi Arabia, or Iran and start a thread that allows open free criticism of Quran’s inhuman barbaric verses! To which of course my only response would be, yes Amein you are correct I am not man enough to do as you suggest simply because I love to live and enjoy my life!
Anyway, since I wanted to express my thoughts on Quran’s origin, while respecting my fellow Zoroastrian friends and family’s wishes not to imply negative comments on Islam (as a Zoroastrian) for the reasons I mentioned earlier, I asked Soroush to post those thoughts for me. He, said he would just login and I could go and make my comments. Of course I ended up signing my name at the end, And that is where we are now!! And of course I have already received harsh worded comments – yet once again – from my fellow dear Zoroastrian friends and family to whom I can only say “Forgive me”, but I just can not silence myself.
Now, however you want to view this, but this is the truth.
Regardless of how you want to view it though – which really and frankly does not matter at all – the fact is you sir, are despicable, and shameless for which your attempts to block me and many others to question your hidden agenda for your propaganda thread on Islam is rather comical!
This thread is about understanding Islam. Anyone can express his/her opinion on Islam in any way he/she wants to as long as it is expressed in a respectful and civil manner.. At times you will see people like me being very negative and critical of the religion, and at other times you will see strong believes expressing their views! This thread is a free form of expression and exchange of ideas. You, on the other hand, seem to only have one agenda on mind and that is to enforce your views of the religion as being it message to the world. If anyone speaks negatively of the religion you become upset and block him/her!

And finally I agree (using your quotes), we are indeed a product of our upbringing, or the lack of it. To understand what I am saying, all one has to do is to read your comments and responses on this thread and your very own propaganda Islamic thread!
No need to respond, as this will be my last post to you and perhaps my last post on Islam on this thread or any other thread (or through anyone else) simply to respect those who are very close to me. In a way and to be honest - and again strictly beacuse of those who are so much dear to me and whom I respect so much - I wished I had never started this thread to begin with. |
