And what happened to the ones who panicked and fled? Were they allowed by Israel to return to their homes?

And since the Palestinians had no army of their own, they should be re-located to their properties, but no, Israel needs pretext to carry out what it had intended to do initially.

Much like this latest series of events...execute a Palestinian who was claimed to be a terrorist (maybe he was, maybe he was not, we will never know, because Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East became the judge , jury, and executioner all in one), just before Zinni was to show up, thus inciting the Palestinians to retaliate. Now that Zinni was to return briefly, the Israelis opened up the occupied territories as a "goodwill gesture" (should be spelled jest--ure)....how sweet and hilarious!

Then they seize a boat in international waters, otherwise, for fear they would have to wait until Zinni returns and the moment would be lost.

This is nothing but show.
