<whining and negativity about how these stocks can't rally because there's too much NG in storage>

Yes, so true, I've had a full tank on the junior PMs for a year to year and half, and this is big time payoff, and looks like plenty more to come this time. But most of my current buying focus has been in NG. If I have to wait a year on that too, so what. Picked up my full position in PCX (great core company, even for conservative investors)and PEL today. The other area that's prime are PGMs, which are still kind of quiet despite a steady rally in the metals. SUF is starting to move, but not too late to get on board. In a year they will be gushing cash flow, especially relative to this market cap. And why the HELL, doesn't somebody here pick off that 50 cent offer on ARQ. I've enough, please take it.

Snippet from the latest Simmons:
GOM rig count 1Q/99 to 1Q/01 was up 91%
GOM production 1Q/99 to 1Q/01 down 3%

Iso, still no OSX/NG for me.

I wasn't quick enough, so I missed it. At the moment I also feel PM's a better place to be. Time will show.

Sort of irritated with myself. Just wasn't paying close enough attention or I would have bought in a toehold, minimum. Really wanted some HOFF but was waiting for 5 or less. Didn't quite happen. Don't want to chase now. Watching CNRD but it isn't very liquid. Looks like a company with LT potential.

Anyway very happy with PM's at the moment as well. Haven't been of the opinion that energy has yet bottomed either. Just seems that demand will have to come back, more than I think it will this year. The industrial side has really been knocked for a loop.

As you probably know I'm pretty familiar with the North Slope. Current production is currently quite a bit above last year ago levels. These old fields and gas holes always last longer than the pessimists think. But eventually it happens - it being depletion.

Compliments on your trading.

Hi Iso,

I took profits on CRK and CRZO. Will wait to re-load. Still holding HOFF and SJT.

Big fun in the explorers lately... as you say, ping pong black gold/yellow gold <g>.

Regards,
