First of all I'll say that you cannot get better information on biotech than the thread you linked to, they guys posting there are more knowledgable than almost anyone on wall street. I used to be pitch in with some bookkeeping [every team needs a waterboy]:

If you look at the spreadsheet you'll see biotech USED to be value!!! I'm involved very little now as they've all 'reflated' to some extent. That is not to say that there arent' opportunities, I believe every stock on this portfolio makes tons of sense given the size of market for their future products:

It's just that 2 years ago they were literally giving them away, now it's far from that although I still own a smidge of some stuff [not worth mentioning because the bet is very small] and some VC stuff. I think this guy makes sense from the article:

<<Schafer: One thing that will keep the biotech bubble going is that the big drug companies, which heretofore merged with each other, are now buying biotech companies. That is their only area of growth.>>

There is certainly some biotech in the sweet spot as it has IP not available to big pharma regarless of what they spend and of course the demographic factor is MONSTER... that said, there is quite a wait for drugs to come to market, this isn't a trading game, it's what the guys do on VD's thread.... buy and wait. The only reson I'm not in it bigger is I think GOLD equities and S&P shorts will pay off first, then I'll have lot's more to put to work over there. :)

Follow those guys, they are the best.
