wbmw, you are a little too pessimistic on the Ghz targets for all the AMD cpus. I think they will hit 2.2Ghz over the life of the .13 bulk and 2.4 with soi. Hammer will probably hit close to 3Ghz with .13 and SOI ( that's my guess for its delay - to give it more headroom, not the baloney that Paul spews out ) and I agree with you Intel will keep improving the P4 ( now that they are clearly ahead in Mhz they can afford to ).
