If I was allowed to do spreads I don't think I'd buy another stock.

Your only cost basis is the price of the leap, which reduces your risk, and that could be reduced to zero in a relatively short time.

Dominick

Hi Dale,

I'm into QCOM at $52 (avg) and I'm getting a real bad feeling about the near and midterm (1-2yr) prospects. The telecom markets (and world markets in general) are a mess and not looking very optimistic. I believe the Enron situation too puts pressure on the QCOM price due to the oft discussed oddities found in Q's financial reporting. I'm hoping we can get back to a break even for me then I'm considering pulling out and waiting a while or looking for another opportunity.
