Hey bobby,

Two charts, with my 'global' cursor positioned on the same date, the day of the SPX swing low at 1104:

Nas/NDX/SPX/VIX:
trendvue.com

Nas/A-D/Cumulative Vol/NHI-NLO
trendvue.com

Maybe the markets will fall off the cliff in unison here - the SPX has that over the edge of the waterfall look to it; or perhaps it will bounce to or even within the bottom end of the range again.

Its hard to imagine a sustainable bounce (especially in tech) holding here, there will undoubtedly be many sellers come out should a bounce materialize and weaken.

Sigh, one day at a time, still... ;0

Awesome chart, Bobby. FWIW, 20 EMA seems to work even better:

In honor of the Rev. Martin Luther King, I've tried to 'Keep Hope Alive' during this sell off- but there comes a time when you have to admit that the bear may just be mightier than the bull here.

That 1114 pivot area is going to be tricky- should I wait for the break to go short? Should I short on a bounce. Will there even be a bounce? Alternately, maybe 1114 becomes the springboard to launch into another bullish phase, and I should buy the pivot point. It's just so confusing.. <g>

Interesting summation chart there. Have you found that once you get a negative crossover that it always returns to the bottom of the range (-1000) ? Or is that pattern purely a bear market phenomenon.

BB,

what do you make of the Rydex numbers. Honestly, they don't make sense to me. Either they aren't being reported accurately or something I can't figure out. Trimtabs keeps reporting fund outflows and Rydex doesn't add up. What do you think?
