* Is there a list anywhere tracking the privately held companies?

I have never looked for such a site because I seriously doubt that one exists because there would be no interest in the information from an investment standpoint. The IRS on the other hand may have a list if any of these private sites and even which are profitable. You might try www.irs.gov if you are serious.

* A small company that can run on 2-4 warm bodies can be profitable. There's no reason for such a company to go public and I suspect that there are plenty of private ones that're doing just fine.

No one has yet to explain to me just how a profit can be generated from an IHUB “like” business model in a sustainable fashion so please feel free to be the first person to break that explanation barrier.

* IH is currently getting about 1200 posts and 100k hits per day and it appears it could do nearly 10 times this without spending another dime on hardware.

AOL has lost over $3 billion the first 3 quarters of this year and gets millions of “verifiable” hits per day. I suppose that banging out code will solve this business related problem.

Low overhead is *key* in a start up business model so you or Matt get credit for that one in my book.

IHUB lacks content which is a key fact pointing to the fact that “someone (?)” is clueless. Ask yourself the question…. “What is Internet site content?” Now tell me what you think it is as far as “I” am concerned, albeit right or wrong. Now tell me how to integrate it and profit from it.

These are all basic business 101 questions.
