"King Woody" as he was called in this country came to a sad end.

The sad ending was that he had a stroke while still in office and it was concealed from the American public.

I fail to see what point, if any, you were trying to make.

A better example is George Bush senior during the Gulf War, but I'm sure that W is quite aware of his fathers turn of events.

>>>More standing ovations by BOTH parties then ever in history. <<<

<Standing ovations are brief moment in history that relate to absolutely nothing....>

Let JDN have his glory, after all it's cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars in net worth.

Imagine if Gore had become president though losing the popular vote and winning a close and controversial decision in Florida. Imagine that America was sucker punched by terrorist downing the WTC, killing thousands of citizens, and that Bin Laden and Omar were still on the loose. And imagine the economy and stock market were in the tank. Imagine America rallied around its President in a time of war.

Do you think JDN would be optimistic? Proud of his country and its leaders?

It's very hard to imagine that.
