IGIT, Realizing that the teaching differences of the Bible, and the Quran, my intention was to show that there have been violent episodes loosely based on the writings in both books by those that did not act in the true precepts of the books. Not, really, meaning to be sarcastic, there is some similarity between apples, and oranges, in that they are both fruits, and both grow on trees.

On the contrary, Islam and Christianity have much in common. There are, of course, some subtleties that distinguish them. Christians are content to succumb to the will of god (i.e., be eaten by lions) while muslims seek the will of god (i.e., Jihad or ramming a Jumbo Jet up your ass). In either case, both should have, by now, become an extinct human form.
