or the simple pure play .. short the DX02H .. or get one of them funny CITIbank accounts that you can denote the currency .. (hello Mr Banker .. please make my account euros today) if such a critter exists. I believe that the service existed in Japan a few years ago (from CITI, that is) .. you could deposit your yen in the ATM and make it a dollar account .. CITI did the exchange ..

I'm still very new at this, but I heard Lester Thurow give a talk that went something like ... remember the Trade Deficit .. you may have forgotten because it's just been there for a long time. Guess what, it's not sustainable, meaning the dollar will go down (sometime), either quickly or slowly (which is a partisan debate, (slowly has never happened)). the back of the envelope says the dollar has to go down at least 40% to balance things. Causing much pain here ($5/gal gas, $40,000 honda civics ...) and more aborad (due to higher us productivity rebalancing things quicker). (Of course, there's the negative feedback from the pain aborad comming back to roost, ah well). Who put this bear suit on me?
