Boy did Friedman ever cut through 100% of the bull with that one! Sometimes, skipping the 10 dollar words and diplomatic niceties - as well as the cultural/ ethnic/ historical background - and getting to the nut of the matter, provides so much clarity that it's impossible to refute. Friedman's basically said: put up or shut up to the Arab old boys. The excuses in response will neither be original nor worthy of reading. But Friedman's piece was both.
