Boy did Friedman ever cut through 100% of the bull with that one! Sometimes, skipping the 10 dollar words and diplomatic niceties - as well as the cultural/ ethnic/ historical background - and getting to the nut of the matter, provides so much clarity that it's impossible to refute.

Friedman's basically said: put up or shut up to the Arab old boys.

The excuses in response will neither be original nor worthy of reading. But Friedman's piece was both.

The Friedmann piece is well done.

Gotta LOVE Tom Friedman's common sense analytical style!!...

The only caveat would be to make Jerusalem an international city, in order to take away the ability to perpetuate the conflict over holy sites.
