Bill, Hi!! RE: How in the hell can DN prognosticate three months forward based on what MSFT and CSCO have said in their "low-balling" forward statements-all playing the MSFT card now!Buy the bull! It would be nice to hear him play out something other than the doubts he creates...The obvious conclusion I draw to his "analysis" is that of deceit...Creating an environment once again when DELL must remain silent and historically has ignored this tactic...I have contacted DELL a number of times and objected to this continuing situation and I never get an answer that satisfies my aggressive behavior...Well, they're running the company and I respect that...I just believe some damage could be to his credibility and the powers to be haven't deemed his negative statements to be of such importance..."It's only short term"... Yes,I still believe there are those that go long...Yes, DELL and many others have been treading water for sometime now...But, some of these large cap stocks were the ones that boomed and many bought into years before...The facts and numbers that DELL is currently producing and will continue to produce will eventually factor in...Results and earnings we all know is what it's all about...This incredible model that has forced all the others into the red is why you and so many believe in that long term view...That's why I'm long, that's why you're long...It's why the millionaire I ran into early this morning at the bagel shop asked me if it's time to buy into DELL is buying DELL at these levels...I asked him for his email so I could send him the recent Fortune article...He smiled...He had read the Andy Serwer article in Fortune...Yes Bill, there are new people discovering what Michael and company have been doing during this economic downfall...They are ready to re-enter the markets and they are looking for the ones that will continue to prosper...DELL is the 800# gorilla...And, yes once again Bill... you are correct..."BUY THE BULL." This slowdown will end...HWP and CPQ wanna get married...I can't wait...I'll throw the birdseed... Best, Kemble
