With my feeble mind have dug into Newmont and agree with Bob Johnsons fundamentals - URL below. Have not been impressed with Newmonts management, but if the Franco management gets involved it could be good for the company.

Who knows - IMO the South African companies are a better value at the moment.

KT, I don't recall any major firms predicting that the tech darlings or the DOT.CONS were sells and the price would get cut in half. Maybe there were some decent calls but I didn't hear it. Maria Bartiromo was too busy hyperventilating about Dan Niles or Tom Kurlak and their tech wreck recommendations. Mike ho ho ho
