Not true if the issue is complex
While not every story is easy to tell, it is a lot harder if you leave out many of the parts. The real problem is that many of these stories are easy to tell, it's just that the original intent was corrupt and so the story is hard to tell with a happy ending.

I've been trying to follow your argument. It seems your whole argument boils down to a lack of confidence in the wisdom of the American people. What's being discussed is basically a meeting between elected officials and lobbyists for various energy interests. Are you really suggesting that there's a politician-lobbyist privilege on a legal par with attorney-client privilege and without this politician-lobbyist privilege, lobbyists will be less candid. LOL.
