Ted, Moving from the Mod thread. You know I love disagreeing with you, but I have no major disagreement with your post here: Message 17215370 let me at least nitpick <g>. Just to be consistent. First of all, there is a lot of major media outside of NYC where Jews do not predominate. If it is outside NYC, it is not major. Well, maybe Washington. DC of course. <g> We are an advanced country......we may be insular and we may not be on top of our game in terms of world events like some Europeans but we are not naive or uninformed. May be that was true of 1950's America but its not true of America today. Its a European bias that may have a little truth to it but only a little. I think Gottfried mentioned he is a French Canadian. Europeans (especially the French) feel that they are much more sophisticated that than American rednecks, so do Canadians. Now combine French and Canadian.... <g> Joe
