100 YEARS OF DEBT
TO THOSE WHO DO NOTHING

Since I was not around in 1901, the year my mother was born, I have to take much of the following as truth,
based on stories from my grandmother, who was born in 1878, and my mother, who was born in December of
1901. Since I made my appearance on planet earth in the summer of 1935, I heard much in my childhood
about how things used to be and how great they had become ... and that was in the 1940's when we got a
brand new wringer washer.
This is important for one reason: I want you to understand that the US pulled itself up by its bootstraps and is
now being condemned by lazy, stupid, crooked, disgusting, illiterate, soapless and tyrannical monarchies or
banana republics in the United Nations who think we "owe" them something because they have rulers who live
in luxury (with bathtubs, I hope) amongst their sick and dying populace who have no say in their government or
their leaders' activities. This is a story of American progress, its apex, and now its precipice of decline at the
hands of the globalists who believe we should be condemned and taxed for being creative and prosperous
under a once-free economy. This is what the liberals deplore (well maybe not bathtubs) ... a free market
economy that produced and was so greedy it didn't go out and give one free bathtub to a third world nation for
every three it sold in America! This kind of socialistic thinking will result in America joining the third world
economic level, declining from its pinnacle of progress and going back to mud hut villages where once we had
Silicon Valley.
Anyway, this was sent to me by a netfriend who likes to pick up tidbits about the used-to-be:
IN THE YEAR 1901:
The average life expectancy in the U.S. was forty-seven. Only 14 percent of the homes in the U.S. had a
bathtub. Only 8 percent of homes had a telephone.
There were only 8,000 cars in the U.S., and only 144 miles of paved roads. The maximum speed limit in most
cities was 10 mph.
Alabama, Mississippi, Iowa, and Tennessee were each more heavily populated than California. With a mere
1.4 million residents, California was only the 21st most populous state in the Union!
The tallest structure in the world was the Eiffel Tower.
The average wage in the U.S. was 22 cents an hour.
The average U.S. worker made between $200 and $400 per year.
A competent accountant could expect to earn $2000 per year,
a dentist $2,500 per year,
a veterinarian between $1,500 and $4,000 per year,
and a mechanical engineer about $5,000 per year.
More than 95 percent of all births in the U.S. took place at home.
Ninety percent of all U.S. physicians had no college education.
Instead, they attended medical schools, many of which were condemned
in the press and by the government as "substandard."
Sugar cost four cents a pound. Eggs were fourteen cents a dozen. Coffee cost fifteen cents a pound.
Most women only washed their hair once a month and used borax or egg yolks for shampoo.
Canada passed a law prohibiting poor people from entering the country for any reason.
The five leading causes of death in the U.S. were:
1. Pneumonia and influenza
2. Tuberculosis
3. Diarrhea
4. Heart disease
5. Stroke
The American flag had 45 stars.
Arizona, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Hawaii and Alaska
hadn't been admitted to the Union yet.
The population of Las Vegas, Nevada was 30.
Crossword puzzles, canned beer, and iced tea hadn't yet been invented.
There was no Mother's Day or Father's Day.
One in ten U.S. adults couldn't read or write.
Only 6 percent of all Americans had graduated from high school.
Marijuana, heroin, and morphine were all available over the counter at
corner drugstores. According to one pharmacist, "Heroin clears the
complexion, gives buoyancy to the mind, regulates the stomach and the
bowels, and is, in fact, a perfect guardian of health."
Eighteen percent of households in the U.S. had at least one full-time servant or domestic helper.
There were about 230 reported murders in the U.S.
Today's globalism wants to punish the United States for having prospered by producing more bathtubs, better
hygiene, a multiplicity of jobs and products, advances in lifestyles that prolonged life expectancy, better methods
of growing and harvesting crops, and making money while improving the way people live in the United States.
To such leaders of "third world" nations, I would say: "Get off your butts and learn from us rather than
condemning us. We've given you billions of dollars to aid your people, you've stolen the money and bought
private jets (with bathrooms) while your people live in stinking filth. Get off your royal thrones and help your
own people, don't condemn Americans for making a better quality of life for their own people. And if you can't
stand soap ... put it in your mouth or somewhere else the sun doesn't shine."
It seems the nations we're naming as terrorist camp facilitators have no problem securing high priced weaponry
to kill. They have a terrible problem doing anything constructive for their own people. Perhaps they keep it that
way as a means of population control. After all, it's taken 101 years for us to get where we are, and frankly, we
haven't got sense enough to realize that we had God-given principles 101 years ago by which most of our
people lived and worked. Maybe those mosques and totem poles give the infidels some comfort, but it was our
Christianity that gave us the foundations of our nation's principles. And no, America never was a "Christian"
nation, that would be a theocracy. We have always been a federal republic of representative government. There
was a time when most of America's citizens came from Europe and embraced, to some extent, the Christian
faith or its principles. We no longer have that. We no longer have a free nation either.
You "third world" nations, along with the goofball socialists in non-Christian Europe and the United States, think
there's a better world than the one the US spearheaded with its productivity between 1901 and 1960? Well
most of you "third world" countries have had centuries to do something and still have a great portion of your
population living in cardboard boxes or caves, mud huts and bug-infested "homes" made out of whatever is
available for free and can withstand a little rain or wind.
Greed is killing the whole world, including America. There's no excusing the politics of global dominance based
on a ruling elite and a serf class. America prospered mightily in a very few years in the 20th century because of
freedom, love of liberty, the love for the land and the opportunity for people to grow, develop, invent, produce
and strive for quality of life. When things became available to most, then greed could not stop and became the
desire for a monarchical or oligarchical world government foretold by both H.G. Wells and George Orwell.
If it weren't for greed, America would be using its own oil and developing the known sources of alternative
energy. If it weren't for greed, third world nations would be coming to the US to learn how to better their own
nations rather than line the pockets of their cannibalistic rulers.
There's a lesson in America's progress during the first two-thirds of the 20th century. A free people with a free
market economy will produce and make a better life for all.
There's a lesson to be learned from American greed: it will destroy the very things it built.
There's a lesson to be learned from the United Nations: it will destroy the whole blasted world in short order.
Serfs are not motivated. Free people are.
There's another lesson being learned. Materialism alone will destroy people because there is no such thing as
enough for those who love and live for material things alone. Without a Bible-based spirituality, there is no
relevant law and order, and we all become victims of our own sin nature.
It is impossible to replace evidence with theory. We have the evidence of what Americans did with their
freedom until they were overcome by materialism. We also have the evidence against lazy, soapless third world
nations and their banana republic or emir rulers. They make no progress and buy ours, for their own use and
not for the benefit of their people.
In 101 years we've found several things about free people, and now the US is surrendering that freedom to
serfdom to the United Nations through a global tax on our ingenuity, and perhaps our world-meddling and
greed. Frankly, we should have kept it all for ourselves and made the world come to us to learn how and if they
didn't learn, oh well ... tough tomatoes.
As it is, we haven't learned how to control our own voracious appetites either. Once God blessed America and
we sang the song with gratefulness. Now it's a hollow echo of a people who not only took God's blessings for
granted, their socialist leaders kicked out God and are continuing to do so.
People are their own worst enemy. History proves that. It also proves people never learn from history.
However, the US could well take care of itself and say "up your yazoo" to the UN and all the whiners of the
third world nations that refuse to learn, to let free people make progress, and keep their people in poverty and
abject slavery. Most of the American people are quite willing to do this.
Our leadership is destroying the national sovereignty of the US by bowing to the United Nations. And our
people are surrendering their freedom for a couple of beers, a pizza and the right to shack up without marriage,
the right to become debauched with base lusts, and the mad scientists who want to play "god" and develop
clones, kill the unborn to use for experiments and use humans as well as animals for guinea pigs.
Maybe it's part of the curse of sin that man cannot tolerate prosperity because it robs him of his humility and
sense of humanity, causing him to think he is a god.
Freedom can only exist for those who are willing to take responsibility for it. That responsibility includes fighting
for it, and that means getting out of the comfort zone. It takes the kind of faith most folks in this nation once had
to sustain freedom by sacrifice.
However, the freedom is being sacrificed on the heathen altars of the United Nations, so we might as well have
fought the battle for our freedom rather than given it away to the monarchs of the east and the pointy-headed
socialists of the west.
America was indeed a noble experiment. And man, once more, has again failed at the very point where success
was imminent. Same old story, same old serpent in the garden, same old lie, same old fatal apple.
Too bad ... too bad. Time has run out and the winter of our desolation is rapidly approaching.
Regardless of what happens to America, we don't owe the lazy third world nations any debt for our 100 years
of progress and hard work! They owe us a debt for leading the way and showing them how to prosper, and
they owe us a debt for not learning, for flunking the course.
So a "Hawaiian good luck" sign to them all.
