Verizon Wireless will launch its high-speed data and voice Express Network throughout the Chicago area on April 2, 2002, giving customers significantly faster and more robust wireless capabilities.

A nice present to get along with Opening Day.

Go Cubs!!! Next year is here ;-)....

Thanks Cooter....I needed an excuse to point out that this was the Cubs year. Some things are more important than the wireless wars <g>....

I wish Verizon would offer more that one 1XRTT phone. I think KDDI has the better idea in kicking off their 1XRTT service with a choice from five phones. I hope Sprint PCS offers more than one phone when they start. I'm sure the Kyocera 2235 is a terrific phone but one size does not fit all. I like the style of the KDDI phones better, flip up with large color screens, but I guess Verizon need a dual band phone that does AMPS which limits their choice while the KDDI phones are single band.
