I don't remember the movie. My memory has been deteriorating a lot in the last ten years. I do remember that he was going to go on killing after the movie ended and that it was compelled by the logic of the whole picture. My recognition memory went away when you described the final idea so I know that you missed the essential pith of it. I suggest you watch it again. Otherwise, if you insist on a particular interpretation I will watch it again and convey my own opinions.

I don't remember the movie details but I do remember that continuing to chase, catch, and kill the "murderer" of his wife was essential. This is where all his memories begin and this is where all of his memories will always end. I wish I could remember it. It has nothing to do with cars or money. It has to do with meaning...
