"I prefer to salute those people, like my union brothers and sisters, who say "America first.""

And you do this by bashing the people who give you your jobs? Like I said, looks like a bad strategy. You also seem to assume that all rich people hide their money. A simple bit of logic to get your brain working:

If your assumption is true, how do the richest 5% pay over 50% of the federal taxes? If they were not hiding money (as you have clearly stated), how much would they pay then? All of the taxes? 90%?

Seems like over 50% is a pretty good share to pay for this minority of hard working Americans.

"The rich have been doing this for a long, long time, pal. (Didn't Chaplin live in Europe for this very same reason?)"

Funny how you would mention the hollywood crowd as an example. Why does your party embrace these people? Look into Alec Baldwins' banking practices and let me know what you find. He's one of yours.

Flapjack,
I believe, there was more than just tax shelters and money, to do with Charles Chaplin leaving the United States.

Anyway, Charles Chaplin was a British Citizen.
