GW Bush will indeed be re-elected primarily due to the fact that the majority of the American people agree with his firm stand in the war on terror. Secondly, they know that all politicians both on the left & right were feeding from the Enron trough. For every Enron charge the left throws at GW, the right can return the punt with a 100% truthful Global Crossing entanglement with the Clinton Administration.

You do more damage to your position than anything else by repeating the attempt to lay the blame for Enron on Bush. I'm sure you, as well as any thinking person, realizes that the house of cards called Enron was created and nurtured during the Clinton administration.

I defended Enron for a long time because I believed in the product it was selling. I did not know the shenanigans some of its executives were pulling.

What they did has nothing to do with capitalism. It is greedy, stupid, and criminal behavior. The same would be true under another system.

Being in the same picture with Kenneth Lay does not mean Bush is anything but a politician.
