I also think that because society actively dissuades people from being openly gay, that this tends to promote short term, anonymous relationships. If you saw two men living together down the street for the last 10 years in a monogamous relationship, everyone could be pretty sure gayness was a distinct possibility. You could draw no such conclusion from a single man who never had the same lover.

that's all I ask of you Gee, Rambi, When you put it that way ... that is one of my favorite songs, so beautiful. I must have missed something about "Cos's system" .... but something tells me .... being #3 aint too good. I have modified my stance(s) many times in my life, but only when I have seen evidence requiring it. I won't modify my stance simply on the grounds that society tells me it is preferable to believe something else. The ultimate proof of gay male promiscuity is the fact that AIDS is overwhelmingly a male homosexual disease primarily spread by sexual contact ... something that is NOT occurring in the male heterosexual population. How can anyone deny this and be true to their intellect and their conscience?
