Telco's

John, I agree - this is a prime time for Telco's and for anyone that can read a balance sheet and accounts in general.

Alas, I do not possess such skills.

Is there a good scanner that can do stuff like liquidity ratios, book values etc?
BookValue about 1-2, and good short term and long term debt cover is all that I am looking for in any shortlist.

I might just try and find a universe of stocks and wait for long-term money flow indicators to turn positive. I have no idea which ones are going bankrupt, or are going to survive.
If you can do fundamental analysis and can get a good collection of 5-10 stocks, I would pick them and look at them every 2-3 mths.

Long WCOM (hopefully a 2w - 1mth trade!)
