Mr. Knight /ZTR

Thanks for your informtive commets on ZTR.

On all the information I have M. Zwieg is listed as one of managers of the ZTR fund. The prospective list this also. If you have any other information I would be grateful to know that.

If he is not a manager, that is a form of deception, and a matter for the SEC. By manager I assume the principle is actively engaged in fund decisions, and being paid for such.

Many investors invest in a fund based on who the fund.
Manager is. I have listed to Mr. Zwieg for some years { Wall St. Week} and I like his ideas for this " Kind "of market.

My view of investing is the investment should fit the goals of the investor, and his profile. What is good for me may not be good for you. I do not chase performance and yield for my experience has taught me this can be dangerous. That said, here is my view on ZTR.

I am a short term trader, althought I do maintain a long term portfilo. My intrest is not focus on long term Cap Gains, so that part of your view means little to me. I do not let the tax tail wag the dog.

As a trader I track a stock for months and some times years, and when I see an opertunity I act on it. I track some three hundred issues with my own proprietary software.

Granted there are better opportunities on there, but one of my requirements is that I am familer with the stock's trading pattern., so ZTR fits my needs. I do not look for the perfect stock ,nor are all value stocks bargains.

Right now I can get one year money for 3%, no I am NOT fibbing. ZTR is paying 9.1% . So I can net 6% with little down side risk. Investing is more Art than science???

I Meet You In The Market…..ed

Mr Knigh

Here are the Market returns for ZTR Fund

1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002
% 17.5 4.1 29.7 4.4 8.9 11.6 18.7 3.0

Not bad for a 58% bond Fund. Beats the S&P by far. 80% of fund managers don't beat the S&P
Good Luck ed
