' Quick recap. Our primary point of contention is that I claim you give the appearance of supporting (encouraging, assisting, etc.) shorting consortiums. I offer (and you have admitted) that there have been numerous occasions where you (as admin) have terminated the accounts of persons engaged in "flame wars" with "bashers" yet rarely have you terminated the "bashers". Your stated reasoning is that the "touts" broke the rules while the "bashers" did not. As a result of this "reasoning" the question arises... Why would an admin (statistically speaking) remove a disproportionate number of accounts from one demographic group over another? Even when reviewed on a percentage basis, you've terminated far more "touts" than "bashers". One theory that has been put forth is that you support these "bashers" because they instigate arguments and controversy, which translate into hits, which translates into profit (you hope). This theory has a great deal of merit and there is enough evidence to support it, and it does answer, in part, the question of "why". While this activity isn't "illegal", it still doesn't sound very noble...or honorable...or ethical...or moral. "What I favor... is lots of give and take on both sides." : mmmary, : The above thoughts are spoken by everyone it seems. : Your recent posting highlights this requirement of equal opportunity for everyone to express opinions using posting so that whenever one encounters what they understand as dishonest stock promotions, that they being at the top of abilities in trading these markets, that they are able to supply a common sense and helpful service to those on the naive side to both warn them to beware of such and either leave or increase their abilities, else they risk their investments. : This does touch on another point i perfer to exclude from this discussion, that being a minimum requirment needed to join for example iHub or Si or even Raging Bull types. Each web site has a text of works one must accept before being granted posting abilities, plus i'am sure a disclaimer for those just reading the web site states similiar stuff. : But lets agree that these words are worthless, as they really are, and agree that everyone on this thread these past weeks do have "What I favor... is lots of give and take on both sides." as an objective so that a good and healthy web site is obtained. That meaning those posting to you on this thread are not part of that evil activity of which you speak of, and of course that seems to be the very issue in these posts. To me who does not trade these markets, and does not want to, i can only speak in general terms, for example, battles between folks using Good v. Evil, and on this thread i will focus on you and (Bob) Zumbrunnen and create a picture of a line that seperates the Good side from the Evil side and expression my opinion that both of you two view yourself on the Good side while the other is on Evil side. Now imagine the possibility that you and (Bob) Zumbrunnen are both on the Good side, and someone evil on the Evil side placed two mirrors such that when both of you two on the Good side look over onto that Evil side, that you both see the other's reflection and not knowing that its a reflection, but that he/she is really on the Evil side, while you both are really on the Good side. (yes, i can really Babble :o) ok, What to do, to change this battle field, as i see nothing that will. or Maybe if an object could be placed between mmmary and (Bob) Zumbrunnen? but Who? As everyone on this thread seems to either stand behind one or the other and sees the same mirror reflections i think exist as images false. ok, My suggestion is a live human being of deep trading abiliy that hopefully is clueless on the mmmary and (Bob) Zumbrunnen war zone. ok, But he or she must already have enough trustfullness attached so that their opinion is valued. If bob and matt's plan is to do company stock promotion, as their last biz plan showed, then I am against it and will post my opinion about that. If their plan is to indirectly aide and abet promoters by discriminately enforcing the TOU so promoters can mislead and defraud while honest negative posters can't even post, I'm against that also and will post about it. People need to know that the posts on ihub are basically stock promotion and hype jobs. They need to know that honest negative posters like myself are not allowed to post there, just like agora and i2i. They need to know that they are only seeing cheerleading hype \posts and not real honest information.
