You are a cuckoo bird. If we wanted to take over the world, we would have done it a long time ago. And that is the more sane of the ridiculous assertions you make in your post.

Excellent post. You're absolutely right. Questions asked are often more important than the answers given. One of the prevailing themes on this board days after 9-11 was: "Those who are not in lockstep with GWB are traitors." Many on this board still believe that.

The Conservative Citizens Council is not a "white supremacist organization". It does have some white supremacists in it, and has not purged them. It would not be apparent from its official literature that that connection existed, and it gets involved in other activities. Trent Lott had a good case for having a superficial acquaintance with the organization.

The military has no intention of taking over the planet. If anything, it is leery of over- extending itself, as was demonstrated when Colin Powell initially resisted Desert Storm. Also, we would not have gotten hamstrung by multi- lateral organizations like the UN and NATO if we were intent upon ruling the world, nor would Bush pere have insisted on UN authorization for Desert Storm, nor would he and Bush fils have bothered with coalition building for their military operations, nor would Bush pere have called off Desert Storm without marching on Baghdad. These assertions are pretty obviously nonsense.

The only country that I brought up owing something to (except, obviously, by treaty)was Israel, because of the condition of its birth, after the catastrophe of the Holocaust; the degree of dependency it has had on us (not to fight for it, but to subsidize it, given its enormous military expenses); and given the danger of another Holocaust if we abandon it. I also said that, given the role of the United States in Islamo- fascist ideology, it is doubtful that we would cease to be targeted by radical Muslims anyway, since they aspire to a new world order of their own.

There is nothing strange about saying that this Administration has enemies. All Administrations do.

Yes, a certain degree of secrecy and deception is permitted a country for national security reasons. That is not the same as owing the people nothing. Of course, what is primarily owed is vigorous, well- conceived policy, not endless testimony before committees.

Your conclusion is bizarre. If we had wanted to take over the planet, we would have marched on Moscow while the USSR was exhausted, at the end of WWII, and had done with it. You are certainly an enemy, or at least a fruitcake, if you spout tripe like that......
