The way I had it figured net net right now WCOM should have a a cash position of ~$1.6 billion after the April pay down of debt. Sullivan stated a current position of $3 billion. I wonder if he misspoke but $1.4 billion is a chunk of change.

I was wishful thinking assuming WCOM would be announcing wonderful news at the shareholder meeting but frankly I was a little disappointed. I suppose the situation is that they have to remain conservative. I'm still optimistic about the longer-term outlook but I do think it may take a bit of time yet. Second half of the year is probably the time perception will start to really turn around because investors may want to see numbers first. This time next year WCOM should be sailing.
