Jay: you need to stir this into your doomster mix - the really great thing about the last year's kitchen sink write-offs (in bad times companies take the opportunity to write off everything, including the undepreciated basis of the kitchen sink) is that they will be followed, as day follows night, by tremendous year over year earnings improvements.
