GZ, Re: I was an Officer for the State of Florida and I conducted thousands of high level investigations throughout my career service with the State before I retired. That sets things in a different light. I'll keep that in mind as evidence of Cheney's malfeasance is brought out into the light. We are at the stage now of addressing this matter from the standpoint of having to deal with Cheney's stonewalling, redactions, secrecy and deceit. Pieces of the puzzle will necessarily emerge as we go forward. California State Senator Joe Dunn, who is leading the California State Senate investigation into Enron's gaming of the California power market has another 33 boxes of unexamined documents that his staff is filtering through. The revelations about "Death Star", "Ricochet" and "Fat Boy" came from his office. As did the recent bombshell on Perot Systems selling the key to crack its trading software to the highest bidder among unscrupulous IPPs. Ross Perot, over the weekend, reneged on his scheduled appearance on Thursday. Dunn is threatening a subpeona to get Perot on the stand. There are a lot of Texans who are going to be very unhappily wearing stripes behind bars in about three years time.

That's fine that you're coming from that distinct discipline....at this point there is not a smoking gun for VP Dick however the guns and fingerprints are beginning to come out of the closet at a pretty brisk pace....and much will come from the energy meeting documents themselves and others turning coat to save their lilly WHITE asses. I trust more concrete evidence will come through on a steady basis.....yet it is certainly a VERY important role for the public to play in PRESSURING the powers that be to continue with the investigation and the powers that have papers to be under PRESSURE to release all documents. And on the THIRTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF WATERGATE......I would think that as a prosecutor or whatever you would have the faith and determination to follow this until the end. It's far reaching economic devastation is still rippling throughout the WORLD economy and certainly the economy of ALL stockholders and residents of the State of California. CC
