Your not aware of the bill allowing illegal aliens free healthcare proposed by Senator McCain of Arizona and the Democratic Senator from New Mexico? There's already free health care for illegals. It's called the emergency room and by law no one can be turned away. EP

Jim, it'll be way too expensive to patrol all of our borders. I'd rather have a little less privacy in all public areas than a costly Wall of America. I'd rather have racial profiling (to an extent) than a massive round-up of illegal immigrants, 99% of whom love America. I'd rather have a more streamlined FBI, CIA, and INS than more federal agencies that only contribute to the bureaucracy. I'd rather have expanded legal immigration than legislation that caters to illegal aliens. And I'd rather commit more strongly to core American principles than foster the tired old "us vs. them" mentality of the ultra-right. Maybe by combining a better policy on immigration with good old conservative values, liberals will be less able to buy the minority vote with handouts. Tenchusatsu
