He didn't claim he made the Trifecta statement on the campaign trail. He claimed that he expressed a series of caveats that might throw things off, then made a joke about hitting the Trifecta. As for finding evidence of, I have no idea how hard they looked.........

You know the really sick part of the "Trifecta" witticism is that Bushi*** is try to make a joke about the fact that we're playing at war, there's a recession on, and we've endured a national emergency.

In his sick mind, this is "a good thing". He's acting like a drunk in Las Vegas who just got lucky on an outrageously long-odds bet.
