If it were up to me, all repeat violent offenders would be sent to Devil's island. One way trip.

answer: If it were up to me, all repeat violent offenders would be sent to Devil's island. One way trip.

In other words if he raped the woman, hacked off her arms and left her to die in a gully full of deadly snakes and it was his first violent act he would get a second chance at being in society.

Quite amazingly this is how the criminal justice system really works, the killer is worth more than his crime.
