tejek,

re: Gore did something far more despicable......he claimed to have participated in the invention of the internet. And Clinton.....well he had sex outside the marriage.

They did those things while in office too. You would think after reaching the top of their political careers they would finally achieve a level or self respect and reverence for their position instead of looking for new positions with an intern.

Ted, during the Lewinsky scandal, a lot of skeletons came crashing out of the closet. Seems like adultery was common among the very senators who pursued Bill's sins like Pharisees.

Watch as some of your beloved Democrats also shoot themselves in the foot as they throw mud at Bush's efforts. Like I said, it's all about politics. New laws will be passed, more bureaucracy will be created, and the politicians will claim victory over the "other side." Meanwhile, the shenanigans will continue to find loopholes.

Tenchusatsu, no, Gore did something far more despicable......he claimed to have participated in the invention of the internet.

A lie, but not a criminal offense.

And Clinton.....well he had sex outside the marriage.

Not a crime. But lying about it under oath was criminal and should have resulted in jail time (it has for others lying in similar circumstances).
